Event Details:
Join us for “The Sounds of Freedom”, an inspiring outdoor gospel concert held on the sacred grounds of the John Freeman Walls Historic Site & Underground Railroad Museum. This powerful afternoon of music and heritage is more than a celebration — it’s a vital fundraiser to help preserve and restore one of the oldest historical sites in the region, including original 19th-century structures like an 1846 log cabin once used as a safe house for freedom seekers. Experience live gospel performances, cultural storytelling, food , and the spirit of resilience that defines this nationally recognized museum — all while supporting the urgent work of safeguarding local history and Canadian heritage.
