Background: Hydro One is building new transmission lines to meet the growing power needs of southwestern Ontario. As part of these efforts, Hydro One initiated an Environmental Assessment (EA) for two new single-circuit 500 kilovolt (kV) transmission lines from Longwood Transformer Station (TS) located in the Municipality of Strathroy-Caradoc to Lakeshore TS in the Municipality of Lakeshore.
