Great Family event to learn more about pollinators. How we can help them survive and why it's important us that they do.
*Demo on how a beehive works and the importance of bees
- Demo on Beewax rendering and how historic candles were made
- Check out the Butterfly House and learn about the metamorphosis of the Monarch
- Discussion on Hummingbirds and how to feed Hummingbirds
- Craft tent
- Tour Native Gardens and learn about native plant hosts to encourage pollinators
- Kid's handout with lots of information, games and colouring.
- Morning session 10 am to 12 pm Afternoon session 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm
